Heliopan Filter 8025 | UV/IR Cut
This filter has been specially developed for recordings with digital cameras without built-in IR/UV Protective filter.
- Lets only happen to daylight
- Especially for digital and video cameras
- Color-neutral
- Filter frame made of brass
- No extension factor
- also usable as a protective filter
- Made in Germany
It locks ultraviolet and the particularly critical infrared light for digital sensors and thus ensures higher color separation and reproduction. The noise of the color channels is reduced. The result is sharper and clearer shots, as the additional "ghost pictures" caused by IR radiation and the high sensitivity of the camera sensors in this radiation book, which adversely affect image sharpness. Other positive features are more detailed, plasticity and finer color gradation. The colors are more natural.
This filter carries on completely colorless glass a plurality of breath-thinner partially reflective layers of exactly calculated thickness. The filter does not lock through absorption, but by interference between the radiation reflected between these layers on both sides of the visible range very steep-sloped (please note the link to our PDF file).
With its steep edge increase, the Heliopan UV/IR 8025 filters the UV radiation completely, the visible wave range makes it almost unexpected and with its steep flank drop from the infrared area, this filter locks the annoying thermal rays.
The filter is usually used mainly for digital and video cameras with CCD sensors without integrated IR protective filters, otherwise the IR sensitivity of the CCDs leads to color damages and blur. The blur results from the chromatic degradation of the lenses corrected only for the visible light. In the visible range, the transmission curve runs straightforward. The filter is colorless clear, and does not require exposure time extension. Filter factor 1.
Tip:
For objective up to 60 ° image angle, the Heliopan 8025 UV-IR lock filter works optimally. However, the principle of such an interference filter has a physically conditioned image-angle-dependent color influence and tends to blue with increasing light incidence angle to the blue, d. H. For wide-angle lenses from an image angle over 60 °, the color reproduction tends to the bluish on the edge of the screen.
