Heliopan adapter rings are made of brass in a matt black finish. These, also known as step-down and/or step-up rings, have become an indispensable accessory today - with the large number of lenses with a wide variety of screw-in thread diameters. A large number of combination options from 24 mm to 105 mm are available in the list. Heliopan has one of the most extensive ranges of standard adapter rings. Heliopan also offers the option of custom-made products at any time.

Heliopan reversing rings, also known as retro rings, have an external thread on both sides and are available in the common sizes for lens threads from ES 49 to ES 77. For close-up shots, retro rings are used on the lenses, which lose their image quality in a normal position below 1 m. In the reverse position, however, they usually retain their sharpness and contrast rendition. The front lens in connection with an inverting ring is mounted towards the camera, while the rear part of the lens points towards the subject. However, automatic exposure metering is no longer possible.

Heliopan coupling rings have an external thread on both sides and are intended for screwing two lenses together.
