This Polarizer has a compact slim filter socket without front thread, which allows with a height of only 5.3 mm vignetting-free receptacles with extreme wide-angle lenses about 18-20 mm full format).

Why a Polarizer Filter?

Natural light spreads straightforward in waveform in all directions. Pure sunlight is polarized and has a high color unit. When penetrating the atmosphere, part of it is scattered, which is superimposed as a blue-gray haze all colors. This proportion can often be dimmed with polar filters. If light also falls in the flat angle of about 35 degrees to a reflective surface, e.g. Water, glass, plastics, colors with the exception of metallic surfaces), the light is reflected and polarized. What is the difference from HT Polarizer to Standard Polarizer

With the same polar filter position, normal Polarizer filters have a filter factor of 2.5 -dies corresponds to a light loss of about 1.66 diaphragms.
The Heliopan High Transmission Polarizer has a filter factor of about 2 and thus only a light loss of about 1.66 aperture.
HT Polfilter are ideally suited for the available light and freehand photography, as it can use the shorter shutter speeds of your camera due to the lower loss of light.
